Terms, Copyright & Design Ownership

All artwork, drawings, stencils, flash sheets and tattoo photographs published on this website are the property of Dead Doll Tattoos and are protected by copyright under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth). Copyright is not transferred by booking, paying a deposit, or being tattooed.

You may view and share links to this website. You may not copy, download, reproduce, crop, edit, re-upload, resell, or use any image from this site for commercial purposes, or supply any design or photograph from this site to another tattooist or studio to be reproduced.

When a custom design is drawn for you, you are paying for the tattoo and the artist's time — not for ownership of the drawing. The design remains the intellectual property of Dead Doll Tattoos, who reserves the right to photograph the finished tattoo and use those photographs in the portfolio, on social media and in advertising.

Designs are drawn for one client and one placement. They will not be knowingly repeated as an identical piece for someone else.

Concepts produced by the flash generator on this site are watermarked proofs, released for discussion with Dead Doll Tattoos only. The watermark is part of the image file. Removing, cropping out, editing over, or otherwise obscuring the watermark is a breach of these terms.

Clean, unwatermarked artwork is prepared by the artist and provided only after a deposit is paid and an appointment is confirmed. A generated concept is a starting point — the final design is interpreted, redrawn and refined by the artist.
